First Missionary Baptist Church
of Yuba City, California

Who We Are

We are a Local Congregation of saved, scriptural baptized people who are united in the belief of what our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ taught and have covenanted together to carry out what He has commanded in His Word.  We follow the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible.  We are an Independent Missionary Baptist Church that maintains fellowship with other churches of like faith.

How one may be Saved

You Need to Be Saved.
  • For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.  Romans 3:23
  • For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.           Romans 6:23
  • Except a man be born again he cannot see the kingdom of God. John 3:3

Awards

You cannot save yourself.
  • For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is a gift of God: Not of works lest any man should boast.  Ephesians 2:8

God's Plan

Repent
Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.     Luke 13:3

Believe
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.   Acts 16:31

For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 3:16

Interviews

Confess
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Romans 10:9-10
