On March 2nd, we had a great meeting in planning for camp. Positions are filling quickly, and people are eager to provide input on how to make this the best year at camp. We had members from the Sheridan Church, Live Oak Church and Chico Church in attendance, and it was a true blessing. A few reminders to everyone that needs to be passed along:
1.) Next camp planning meeting will take place March 30,2018 at 6:00 pm at the church in the fellowship hall. If you are interested in seeing what is happening with camp, or would like to help out in any way, we you invite to come. Refreshments will be served. 2.) There is a mandatory counselors meeting on April 14, 2018 at 10:00 am in the church fellowship hall. Anyone interested in being a counselor will need to attend this class. It is about 3 hours long. Teachers and Security members are also asked to please to attend. The class will be conducted by our Director and Head Counselors, and interview will be performed for all potential counselors. 3.) We still have open positions that need to be filled. If you are planning on attending camp, and would like to help out, please let us know. You can email us with any questions to [email protected]!

Friday, March 2nd is our next camp meeting. Everyone who is attending camp or interested in attending camp is invited to come. Come share ideas and thoughts as we prepare to put on this years camp. Also we are still in need of workers. If you are interested in helping us out this year, come and listen to which positions still need filled. There will be finger food as well. Meeting starts at 6:00 at the church. Look forward to everyone coming and helping us make this year a great year at camp!
I'd like to share a Psalm with you all this morning.
Psalm 150 Praise ye the lord. Praise God in his sanctuary:praise him in the firmament of his power. 2. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. 3.Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him wit the psaltery and harp. 4.Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. 5.Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. 6. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord. What a beautiful Sunday morning for the praising the Lord. Services start at 9:45 this morning. We would love to see you all there as we raise our voices this morning and praise the Lord! Apologies for not keeping more up to date. Hoping that everyone had blessed holidays with loved ones. Our Church has been keeping steadily busy.
-The Ladies group just recently had there conference. We were blessed with amazing speakers, and a great day of fellowship in the Lord. A big THANK YOU to Sis. Tabitha Jordan, Sis. Colleen Rohrig, and Sis. Nadine Kelley for speaking for us. Also thank you to all the ladies who attended. -The youth are hosting their annual Valentines Dinner tonight. Tri-tip dinner will be served. Dinner is $5 a person and starts at 6:00 pm. -We are actively in the planning stages for camp this year. Busy preparing lessons and getting as much ready as we can, from down here. This years theme is J.E.D.I. Stay tuned for more information on Camp as the year progresses. -Also we are in the early stages of planning our first Family Bible Boot Camp. It is a 3-day activity, intended to bring families closer together and stronger in the Lord. As planning progress on all of these activities, stay tuned for updates. Tonight is Youth night. Let's all come out and support our youth, with singing and fellowship. Have your special prepared!! Refreshments will be provided following tonight's services.
We have a had quiet a busy few months, and a few more busy months to come. The Lord's work doesn't stop. Our events page had been updated with our upcoming activities. Our youth just took a trip yesterday to Six Flags, and everyone in attendance had a great time. Hoping to have some pictures up soon. Our harvest festival is coming up in a week, with fun things for families to do. Looking forward to seeing everyone there.
We now have a theme for camp for 2017. Planning is already underway for next year!! Check out our Camp page for more information! Hi all. Just a reminder that we are having a camp work week the week of August 29. It is a collective work week, with members of other churches coming together to prepare camp for winter, then for the upcoming year. If your interested in coming and helping please let Bro. Tim Westbrook know, or let us know and we'll get the message along. Let's continue to pray that the Lord bless the work being done at camp.
Vacation Bible School is this week! Come and learn about Faith in God, and study those who demonstrated faith. We have classes for all ages, crafts, music, and of course snacks (we wouldn't be baptist without them). Come join us for a great week!
THANK YOU to everyone who came to camp as a camper or worker. A great time was had by all who attended. We had a great week with 4 souls saved. Praise the Lord!
